レコードに関しては、A面のメンツが特に素晴らしい。B面はSlow Side Downがそのバンド名とは正反対のファスト＆クレイジーサウンドで最高です。

これは激好きにはたまらない名作スプリット。ブルーヴィニール。
まずVide Blueのテンションとセンスの良さには唸らされる。
Vida Blueはその後Ten Grandと名前を変え、さらに独自のグルーヴを得てSick RoomとSouthernからアルバムをリリースしてその活動が楽しみだったんですが、メンバーの一人に不幸があり、事実上の解散。We will miss you, Matt.

Khayembii Communiqueはアメリカのミネソタ州ミネアポリスで活動していた3ピースのバンド。
終始切れまくりの絶叫と演奏が素晴らしく、要所で出て来るメランコリックなメロディが印象的。
どうやらBlood of the Youngからディスコグラフィーが出るという話はあったみたいですが、レーベルがすっかり活動が止まってるようで、出る気配はなさそうです。レーベルのコンピレーションにラストソングが収録される予定だったみたいですがそれも結局出てないみたいです。
